5 Minute Walk
For this project, 5 Minute Walk, I walked around Boxford's West Village and took a couple of photos of things that I thought were interesting. After collecting the photos I edited them in Photoshop to make the quality of the picture even better. After editing them and deciding which photos to use I eventually put them into this collage that you see above.
PanoGraph
For the PanoGraph I went downtown Boston and found a really unique setting with great looking buildings. After selecting the overall picture I had to take many smaller pictures to make the bigger picture by rotating my camera to get different angles without changing the photo. After collecting all of my photos I went into Photoshop and edited them to fit into a smaller canvas. I also changed some of the brightness and the color contrast within the photos to enhance the final product you see above.
Picture in a Picture
For the Picture in a Picture project I had to make it look like photos were inside another photo. For the first one you see I took two photos and put them onto the same layer in Photoshop and then after I cut out the part in the frame to reveal the other picture. In order to make it pop I made the portion inside the frame black and white. The second one is when I took one photo and make it go into the other photo multiple times to make it look like it would go on forever. The third picture you see is when I took a photo and recreated the background to make it look like it was actually part of it. With all these photos I used Photoshop and many tools involved with it.
With this Photostration I combined an Orange and a Kiwi. For this project we used the studio to produce these photos with the perfect lighting in order to fit our needs. We got to play around with the flash and the right background that will bring out our objects the best. While merging these photos I took the orange and placed the kiwi over and made it a little darker so the orange could shine through giving it a double texture. The oranges color is also reflected onto the counter showing almost a false reflection of the image above.
This "Big thing in a Small world" I made a lamp post look like it was the same size as the house. I used one photo with the lamp and cut it out. After I had the cut out I placed it onto the bigger picture of the house. In order to make it look real I had to erase some parts of the lamp in the tree tops to make it look blended together and not just something you put there. I also copied some mulch and placed it at the bottom of the lamp because then it would look like it was actually coming out of the ground like the other candy canes that were placed there.
